Complete works of Mouni Mouni was a lonely crusader of his cause in Tamil literature. His stories were novel so were the worlds they were set in. He has no predecessors or followers. This uniqueness made Writer Puthumaipitthan call him the Tirumular of Tamil literature comparing him to pioneer Tamil siddha writer of Tirumantiram. When Tamil s pioneer short story writers moved away from the inner worlds outwards Mouni traveled inwards. On the fringes of mind he discovered darkness strangeness joy in new lights.
